One of the most impressive expressions of the southern Rhône. This Domaine Château des Tours wine, crafted by the renowned Emmanuel Reynaud (also known for Château Rayas), embodies a perfect balance of subtlety, fresh fruit expression, and strong terroir character.
The aroma reveals notes of red berries – raspberries, cherries, and red currants – complemented by gentle spice, dried herbs, and a very subtle smoky nuance.
On the palate, the wine is medium-bodied, with lively acidity, silky tannins, and a long, refined finish where red fruit freshness meets herbal and lightly mineral undertones.
The vineyards, located in the southern Rhône Valley, are planted on limestone-clay soils mixed with sand and rounded river stones (galets). The vines are cultivated with meticulous care — hand-harvested, minimally intervened, and farmed organically to preserve purity and authenticity.
Fermentation occurs naturally with indigenous yeasts, and aging takes place for over a year in old oak barrels, allowing the wine to maintain its clean, expressive profile while developing structure and aging potential.
