75% of the base wine for this Champagne is aged in used, small French oak barrels. 65% of the wine has not undergone malolactic fermentation. The residual sugar content of the wine is 5 g/l.Golden in colour, with an intense and full-bodied aroma dominated by red berries and complemented by notes of dried and candied fruit. The powerful flavour is balanced by fresh acidity.
Serve at 8-12 °C with oysters, seafood, fish dishes and eggs benedict.
