Fermentation and maceration of almost 4 weeks. Aging in barrels (approximately 60% new) for 18 months.
This wine is a noble example of the excellent Pomerol terroir. Aromas of lavender, fresh blueberries, plums, black currants, anise, pine cones and mocha. Rich with firm but smooth tannins.
Serve at 16-18 °C with red meat, game and wild poultry dishes.

This has cashmere-textured crushed plum and black currant preserve notes laced with a mouthwatering anise note and backed by a spark of savory through the graphite-edged finish. Nicely done. Merlot and Cabernet Franc. Drink now through 2034. 3,000 cases made.
