White dry
A warm-character white wine from the Northern Rhône, made from 100% ‘Viognier’ grapes. This wine captures the very essence of the Condrieu AOC – a silky texture, rich aromas, and distinctive minerality born from the region’s granite slopes overlooking the Rhône River.
The aroma is inviting and subtly exotic, revealing notes of white peach, apricot, orange blossom, and honey, intertwined with hints of ginger, almond, and gentle spice.
On the palate, the wine is smooth yet structured, with a perfect balance between creamy texture and lively acidity. Flavors of ripe stone fruits, orange zest, and white flowers unfold toward a long, slightly salty and mineral finish.
The grapes are hand-harvested and grown on south-facing granite slopes, where full ripeness is achieved while preserving freshness. This terroir gives the wine both depth and vibrancy.
Fermentation takes place in stainless steel and partially in oak barrels, followed by eight months of aging on fine lees (sur lie) to enhance texture and aromatic complexity.
Serve at 10–12 °C with baked sea bass with citrus sauce, langoustine risotto, or brioche with goat cheese and honey.
The story began with Michel Chapoutier, a unique man with a thirst for knowledge, definitely one of a kind. Michel is openminded and always willing to learn. He seeks to discover and reflect the full potential of his terroirs and let the soils express their true character. That which gives the wines their signature style. This now forms the basis of the M. Chapoutier ethos and our team strives to reveal the very best of what the soils have to offer.
