The grappa is distilled in small batches from the pomace of Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. The spirit is aged for 4 years in oak barrels and then given an additional 6 months of maturation in used Sassicaia wine barrels.
It offers aromas of wood, vanilla, cocoa, and coffee.
On the palate it is full-bodied, balanced, and majestic.
Serve at 18–20 °C as a digestif.

It all began in 1898, when straw hat maker GioBatta Poli, driven by a passion for grappa, built a small still and began visiting local winemakers to distill the leftover grape pomace after winemaking. What started as a modest hobby soon became a family tradition, carried on by his sons and now passionately upheld by his grandson, Jacopo Poli – one of Italy’s most renowned modern grappa producers.
