The 2020 Dry Riesling Classique is an expedition along the shores of southeast Seneca Lake. One that celebrates the diversity of the landscape and the styles of Riesling that it brings to life, and welcomes travelers from all walks of life to take part. The wine is made from two vineyards growing - 80% on the eastern shores of Lake Seneca and 20% on the western shores of Lake Cayuga.
Soil: shale with gravel admixture and clay with limestone.
The wine is fermented with wild and cultured yeast and for 8 months. matured in old oak barrels.
Aroma of grapefruit, lemon, apple, wild flowers. Crispy, mineral in the mouth.
