Deep in the heart of Kentucky, where rolling meadows meet timeless traditions, stands Casey Jones Distillery – a place where every drop of spirit tells a story. Here, it's not just spirits that boil – it's heritage, perseverance, and craftsmanship passed down from hand to hand, from heart to heart.
A story forged in copper
It all began in the Land Between the Lakes region, where in the early 20th century, Casey Jones – a legendary maker of copper stills – crafted not only distilling tools but also earned the trust and respect of those around him. His stills were so flawlessly made that even Al Capone favored the moonshine they produced – strong, illicit spirits made under the cover of night, which gave rise to the name “moonshine.” Casey had never even seen a still before building his first. He simply knew what it had to be – a mix of instinct, a touch of magic, and a lot of hands-on labor.
A legacy carried on by family
Today, his grandson AJ Jones continues the spirit of craftsmanship, using family recipes and an authentic copper still built in the image of his grandfather’s original design. Casey Jones Distillery doesn’t just produce drinks – they create time capsules, filled with sweet corn, smoke, courage, and the enduring soul of America.
A taste that speaks through history
Here, moonshine transforms into high-quality bourbon, and history becomes flavor – rich, warm, and never-ending. This is more than alcohol. It’s a story of people who never gave up, of a flame that never went out, and of copper that still gleams like a promise: when you sip a Casey Jones spirit, you drink from the source where a legend was born.
