Niepoort Açores Reserva Pico 2024 is a unique example of the expression of Atlantic wine, which combines marine minerality, a refreshing acidity structure and a combination of fruit aromas. The aroma reveals the nature of the Atlantic Sea and the influence of the wind - light notes of iodine, sea salt, which smoothly transition into citrus fruit (lime, grapefruit) peel, white peach and nectarine tones, subtle herbal and white flower accents. These aromatic lines give the wine a sense of freshness and an open, clean character line.
The wine is produced: by gently pressing the entire bunch, fermentation was carried out in stainless steel tanks, often with spontaneous yeast, maturation took place with yeast sediment, giving the wine additional depth of texture.
