Sister Moon was the first wine composition under Sting's direction and was logically named after one of his most famous songs.
Complex wine on the nose and on the palate with intense cherry fruit and hints of spices, some smoke, very harmonious and long.
Serve at 16-18 °C with beef, lamb, veal, poultry, cured meat.
Deep aromas of blackberries, blueberries and bark with some dried flowers, following through to a medium body with firm and polished tannins and a tangy and fresh finish. Some dark earth at the finish. Drink or hold.
Tenuta Il Palagio is a winery located south of Florence in the hills of Tuscany. Here it overlooks the small towns of Figline and Incisa Valdarno. The estate was originally built in the 16th century.
Today it belongs to singer Sting and his wife Trudie Styler. The winery has since grown into a complete agricultural operation, so today you will also find fruit and olive groves. The products are sold in the farm's own organic store.
The oenologist Paolo Cacíorgna is responsible for the wines of the house, to which he brings his long experience gained, for example, in France and California. The team is completed by Alan York, a consultant who specializes in biodynamic farming methods and is known worldwide in this field.
