This captivating red wine, crafted from mature vines, promises a harmonious balance of rich fruit, structured tannins, and a memorable finish.
The bouquet is dominated by notes of dark and red fruits, subtly intertwined with toasted nuances. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied, with a firm backbone thanks to its ripe tannins. The long, balanced, and rich finish reveals the wine's depth and excellent aging potential.
'Clos des Myglands', whose name means "my land," is a prestigious 1er Cru vineyard exclusively owned by Domaine Faiveley. Here, on clay-limestone soils, vines planted between 1963 and 1982 are harvested by hand, ensuring exceptional grape concentration. The wine is meticulously aged in barriques, utilizing approximately 30% new oak, which enhances its inherent robustness and complexity.
Serve at 14-16°C with duck dishes, lamb ribs or beef tartare, multigrain stew with porcini mushrooms.
Since 1825, the Faiveley family has worked with deep respect in the heart of Burgundy – in the Côte de Nuits, Côte de Beaune, and Côte Chalonnaise regions – where prestigious Grands Crus and Premiers Crus wines are born.
