Orange wine

1–16 of 16

Orange wine is a unique and distinctive choice that goes well with exotic dishes and a variety of cheeses, fish and seafood. This wine is made from white grapes, but using red wine production methods - the grape juice is fermented for a long time with the skins on, giving it a rich orange colour, more pronounced tannins and a more complex flavour.

Orange wine is often aged in clay amphorae or oak barrels, which enrich its flavour with additional aromas and texture. The most common grape varieties used are 'Rkatsiteli', 'Chardonnay', 'Sauvignon Blanc', 'Pinot Gris', 'Muscat' and others
