A Bold Lithuanian Pilsner Brewed Using the Traditional "Keptinis" Beer Method.
Discover a uniquely flavorful bottom-fermented Pilsner where a full-bodied texture meets rich taste and deep-rooted Lithuanian brewing traditions. This is not your ordinary lager—it’s crafted using the ancient “keptinis” (roasted, baked) beer technique, where a portion of the malt and water mixture (known as mentalas) is caramelized in a wood-fired oven. Around 10% of the malt used in this beer is prepared using this artisanal method.
To further enrich its character, the beer undergoes decoction mashing—a brewing method where part of the mash is boiled to enhance the natural malt profile.
The flavor is perfectly balanced with aromatic European hops, which soften the malty sweetness and introduce subtle floral notes for a refined finish.
Ingredients: water; barley malt; hops; yeast.
IBU (International Bitterness Units): 22 (10–30 – mild bitterness).
