White dry
Markowitsch Grüner Veltliner Alte Reben 2023 is a refined and rich dry white wine from the Carnuntum region, produced from 35-year-old vines growing in soil with a high proportion of limestone, which gives the wine a special structure, refreshing acidity and distinctive character. The grapes were hand-picked in several stages to ensure optimal ripeness.
The wine has an intense aroma of ripe fruit, complemented by spicy notes. The taste is dominated by a balanced combination of fruit and acidity and a long-lasting aftertaste, revealing the complexity and elegance of the wine.
Wine aging: 80% in steel tanks at a temperature of 20°C, maintaining freshness and fruitiness; 20% in oak barrels with yeast sediment, providing structure and complexity.
Residual sugar: 1.4g/l
Acidity: 5.8g/l
Serve at a temperature of 10-12 °C with Viennese schnitzel and Asian cuisine.
