Bodegas Protos is one of the oldest and most renowned wineries in the Ribera del Duero region of Spain. Founded in 1927, the winery was the forerunner of the Ribera del Duero wine designation of origin (DO) – its name “Protos” comes from the Greek word for “first”.
Today, Bodegas Protos is an internationally renowned wine producer, exporting its products to over 100 countries, producing both premium red and fresh white wines.
