Saldusis saldus
Aromas of citrus marmalade and frangipani abundant on the nose. Full bodied and complex, a good sugar to fruit ratio combined with a great acidity ensures the wine is in balance.
The wine was aged in a combination of 60 %new French oak, Hungarianoak and FrenchAcacia. It was left for a period of 3 years in barrel on the gross lees before racking out and blending. It spent a further 6 months in tank before bottling.
Serve at 10-12 °C with desserts and Roquefort cheese.

Today, Klein Constantia continues to make some of South Africa’s top wines and the world’s best dessert wine; wines that reflect the cool Constantia climate, as well as their historic tradition.
