Baltasis p. sausas
This cuvée reflects the true identity of the Aubuis terroir (clay-limestone) which makes the power of this demi-sec. It is with the greatest care that this cuvée is transported to the press. It is the result of a rigorous selection and sorting of grapes at perfect maturity. Once the juice has been decanted, part of this wine will be left to ferment in thermo-regulated stainless steel vats (80%), the other in oak barrels (20%). Aged on its fine fermentation lees regularly resuspended by stirring for 6 months, this cuvée gives an excellent floral bouquet on the finish.
Serve at 8-10 °C with Asian spicy dishes, creamy cheeses such as camembert and reblochon, and can also be paired with assorted fruit desserts.
The Domaine de la Rouletière is located in the Vouvray appellation. The vineyard is near Tours and the Loire castles. The Vouvray appellation of controlled origin is located on the right bank of the Loire Valley (classified World Heritage by UNESCO). The appellation opens to the eastern limits of the city of Tours and extends over 7 municipalities. Its area is 2,200 hectares. The development of the vineyard and the introduction of the Chenin grape variety in Saint Martin are also attributed to the origin of the construction of the famous Marmoutier Abbey.
