Raudonasis sausas
This is a cerebral and emotionally stirring wine that brings us back to a very different, more innocent time in the quickly evolving timeline of this mighty wine appellation in southern Tuscany. The 1983 Riserva was produced with proprietary clone of Sangiovese Grosso called BBS11 (Brunello Biondi Santi 11). For this Riserva exclusively are used grapes from the oldest vines with over 25 years of age. The 1983 Riserva was aged in Slavonian oak barrels for 3 years. It benefited from a long refinement in the bottle. The 1983 Brunello di Montalcino Riserva is a brilliant but naked wine that reminds us of the original blueprint for Brunello, a wine made with a specific clone of Sangiovese that was selected for its long ageing potential. Despite all that time in the bottle, this wine presents stunning purity and clarity of fruit. It is polished and glossy in the mouth with tannins that have been softened by time. A bright moment of acidic freshness remind us that this wine is still very much alive. This vintage was topped up and the cork was changed in 2000.Best before 2030.
Serve at 18 °C with ravioli with truffles, beef steak with pepper souce, game dishes.

Itin retas atvejis, kai galima atsekti vyno kilmę iki vieno konkretaus žmogaus, nes „Brunello di Montalcino“ atsirado būtent Ferruccio Biondi-Santi’o dėka, o jį išgarsino Biondi-Santi’ų šeimą. Dabar jau septintoji vyndarių šeimos karta gamina vyną, garsėjantį savo elegancija ir nepaprastu ilgaamžiškumu. Montalčino centre įsikūrusi ir 25 ha vynuogynų turinti „Biondi Santi“ vyninė laikosi tradicinių, daugiau nei šimtmečio senumo vyndarystės būdų. 1888 m. Derlius nurenkamas gana anksti. Vyndarystėje dominuoja ilga maceracija: „Brunello“ fermentuojamas plieno talpose, o Riserva – ąžuolo. Vėliau vynai brandinami didelėse ąžuolinėse statinėse.
