The Tempranillo and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes grow in the Finca La Torreta grape at an altitude of 310 to 340 meters above sea level. The fermentation of these grape juices takes place collectively in stainless steel tanks. After 7 days, the fermentation is stopped. The wine is transferred to new and used French oak barrels for maturation. Maturation lasts 13 months. Intense ruby colors with cherry hues. It smells of raspberries, almonds and mint. The taste of strawberries, cherries and raspberries is felt in the mouth.

Serving recommendations

Serve at 16-18 °C with chocolate desserts flavored with red berries.

The history of the Pares Balta winery in the Penedès region of Spain dates back to 1790. In the 1970s, the Cusiné family joined her. Brothers Joan and Joseph Cusiné work in the vineyards, and their wives, along with oenologists Maria Elena Jimenez and Marta Casas, are responsible for wine production. Since 2010, organic and biodynamic oenological practices have been actively applied on the farm.
