Red wine dry
This Primitivo is the homage to the roots of the Papadopoli family, whose ancestors of Greek origin settled in the past in the heart of Salento to devote themselves to peasant life. Wine that amazes for harmony and enveloping.
After a manual harvesting, the grapes are destemmed and pressed. Maceration and alcoholic fermentation for about 8-10 days at controlled temperature. Ageing in stainless steel tanks.
Serve at 14-16°C with grilled sausages, pizzas, cured ham, mature cheeses.
In a middle earth, between the sea of Taranto and the Itria Valley’s hills, is located San Giorgio, a small village part of the Primitivo di Manduria DOC region, where we have handed down traditions, experience and passion for wine for four generations.
Giustini is led by Giuseppe Papadopoli together with his sons Salvatore and Federico. Giuseppe founded the company in 2005 and applies all his knowledge to grow grapes of the highest quality in his vineyards; Salvatore is a young and passionate winemaker with the desire to experiment and extract the best juice from his father’s work. Federico, on the other hand, is the cellar master: his eyes and arms guaranteeing all daily operations.
