This solemn Calvados, aged for a minimum of 20 years in oak barrels, originates from the prestigious Pays d'Auge region in Normandy, standing out with its mature, complex, and accomplished taste. The spirit boasts a perfect harmony between freshness, roundness, and a noble rancio character, while the top of the bottle is adorned with a hand-poured wax seal bearing the founder's "PH" initials.
Aroma: hints of "Tarte Tatin" apple pie, salted butter caramel, and crystallized apples, complemented by subtle notes of menthol and cloves.
Palate: exceptionally balanced, long, and complex, revealing a mature weave of apples, gentle spices, and a noble woody bitterness.
