Fruit and berry dry
At the family-owned Roksala Winery, all wines are crafted exclusively from grapes grown and carefully selected in Lithuania, applying traditional winemaking techniques, accumulated experience, and the family’s own innovations.
This sparkling wine is produced using the traditional method. The aroma reveals notes of fresh apples and citrus fruits, while the palate offers crisp acidity and subtle fruitiness.
Serve at 6–8 °C as an aperitif or alongside light appetizers, fish, seafood, shellfish, cheeses, fresh fruit, and citrus-based desserts.
Roksala is an exceptional rural tourism homestead located in Taručiai village, Rokiškis district, right on the border with Latvia. A true oasis of tranquility in the heart of nature, next to the Suvainiškis Telmological Reserve, it offers visitors the opportunity to discover the unique culture of Lithuanian wine.
Roksala is renowned for its traditional, natural approach to winemaking. Wines are crafted from local fruits and berries, fermented and aged without industrial additives. The result is rich, authentic wines inspired by Lithuanian terroir, surprising with both refreshing fruitiness and depth. Remarkably, nine Roksala wines are recognized as Lithuanian National Heritage products, a mark of exceptional quality.
The homestead proudly boasts the northernmost vineyard in Lithuania. Alongside it grow cherries, blackcurrants, apples, rowanberries, and other fruits and berries, which shape wines of distinct character and subtlety. The winery also takes pride in its authentic cellar, where a unique collection is preserved.
Roksala invites guests not only to taste wines but also to experience their creation. The educational program “Wine Road” introduces winemaking from grape to glass. Visitors can:
