Red dry
A classic red wine from Bordeaux’s Left Bank, combining the richness of ripe dark fruit with freshness, firm structure and elegant tannin texture. The estate is included in the 1855 Bordeaux Classification, and its vineyards are characterised by deep gravel layers over a clay subsoil. These conditions are particularly favourable for growing ‘Cabernet Sauvignon’.
The nose reveals blackcurrant, blackberry and dark cherry, complemented by notes of liquorice, mint and subtle spice. The palate is rich and concentrated, yet retains freshness and balance. Silky, well-defined tannins provide structure, while the long finish reveals lingering notes of dark fruit, spice and subtle minerality.
The 2023 vintage is made primarily from ‘Cabernet Sauvignon’ and ‘Merlot’, with a small proportion of ‘Petit Verdot’ also included in the blend. Fermentation takes place in stainless-steel vats, with some malolactic fermentation carried out in barrels. The wine is aged for approximately 12 months in oak barrels, around 30% of which are new. A portion of the wine is also aged in amphorae.
Serve at 16–18 °C; pair with grilled beef entrecôte, slow-braised beef with wild mushrooms, or roasted lamb with rosemary and garlic.
