Fruit and berry semi sweet
Gintaro Sin's chokeberry wine (semi-sweet) is a Lithuanian fruit and berry wine from the village of Juodalaukiai, Zarasai district, in which chokeberry reveals itself richly and concentratedly. The style is semi-sweet, but with a clearly noticeable balance, so the wine remains uncluttered.
Aroma
The aroma is dominated by the impression of ripe, sweet berries and a darker note of chokeberry. The smell is intense, more "berry" than floral.
Taste
In the mouth, the wine is rich and complex, gently sweetened, with a longer fruity aftertaste. The natural "darker" character of chokeberry provides structure and calm, and the sweetness acts as a rounding detail.
Raw material and origin
The producer emphasizes local raw materials and a more natural preservation of the character of fruits and berries, and the wines are created in limited quantities.
Serve at 14–16 °C with grilled meat, desserts, and dark chocolate.
