This is an elegant, dry sparkling rosé from Provence, reflecting the light and refined style of southern France. Born in a Mediterranean climate, the wine shows freshness, subtle structure and a clean, precise character. The “Mi Mi en Provence” range is oriented towards a modern interpretation of Provence – light, aesthetic and easy to integrate into gastronomy.

The nose reveals delicate notes of red berries – strawberry and raspberry – complemented by light citrus and floral nuances. A subtle hint of brioche or fresh bread, typical of sparkling wines, can also be perceived. The aromatic profile is clean, elegant and harmonious. On the palate, the wine is fresh and light-bodied, with lively acidity and fine, gentle bubbles. Flavours of red berries and citrus dominate, creating a balance between fruit and freshness. The finish is medium in length, clean and refreshing, with a subtle creamy touch.

The grapes are grown in the Côtes de Provence appellation, where a Mediterranean climate prevails – abundant sunshine, dry summers and cooling sea breezes. The soils vary from limestone to clay and sand, allowing a balance between ripeness and freshness while contributing a subtle mineral character.

The wine is made from traditional Provençal varieties, most commonly ‘Grenache’, ‘Cinsault’ and other regional grapes. The sparkling wine is produced using the tank method (Charmat), preserving fruit expression, freshness and a clean, approachable style.

"Vins Breban" is one of the most prominent and highly respected producers in the Provence region, whose name today has become synonymous with the quality and authenticity of Southern French winemaking. For three generations, the Bréban family has nurtured a passion for the region's wines. Although many recognize this producer for its elegant, classic Provence rosés, the history and portfolio of "Vins Breban" conceal much more—from deep traditions and sustainable partnerships with local vineyards to masterfully crafted artisanal sparkling wines, the production secrets of which the family has preserved to this day.

From a garage vision to Provence leaders

The origins of the family business sound like a true French legend. It all began back in 1942 when founder Raymond Bréban started producing his first sparkling wines in his home garage. Sensing the immense potential of the Provence region, he officially founded "Vins Breban" in 1952 and added still wines to the assortment. In 1968, his son Jean-Jacques Bréban took the helm, successfully expanding the company's export reach and making it globally recognizable.

Today, the estate is successfully managed by the third generation. Over more than 70 years, the family has built an invaluable network of trust—they work closely with over 20 independent wine estates in the region and bring more than 8 million bottles to the market annually. Their wines represent the most important regional appellations, such as Côtes de Provence, Coteaux d'Aix-en-Provence, Bandol, and local IGP zones. Furthermore, in 2019, the family acquired the historic "Château Arnaude" estate, nurtured by monks since the 18th century, thereby further cementing their roots in the soil of Provence.

The magic of the Mediterranean and mountain terroir

"Vins Breban" wines are born where abundant southern sun, mountainous terrain, and fresh Mediterranean winds meet. The region's climate is perfect for viticulture—long, hot, and dry summers allow the berries to achieve optimal phenolic ripeness. Meanwhile, the winds blowing from the sea not only cool the vineyards at night, preserving the vibrant acidity of the grapes, but also naturally protect them from diseases.

The soils here are exceptionally diverse, ranging from limestone and clay to sandstone and gravel. This geological diversity grants the winemakers the freedom to create complex blends, while imparting a distinct structure and subtle minerality to the wines themselves. Recognizing the immense value of this terroir, today "Vins Breban" is dedicating increasing attention and investment to organic and sustainable farming (Agriculture Biologique).
