The name for this "Premier Grand Cru Classé" estate, Château Angélus, was given by the vineyard workers who at one time could hear the bells of three churches ringing simultaneously in the heart of the famous medieval town of Saint-Émilion. This legendary estate was founded in 1782. Eight generations of the de Boüard de Laforest family have since taken care of this exceptional property on the Right Bank of Bordeaux.
