The estate was recently acquired by the renowned Barruol family (of Château de Saint Cosme), bringing years of expertise and the highest quality standards to the region. The vineyards grow on limestone soils at a higher altitude, meaning Vinsobres wines are characterized by exceptional freshness and balanced acidity, often lacking in other southern regions.
The wine is traditionally crafted from Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvèdre grapes. This classic blend creates a complex aromatic bouquet dominated by dark berries, black pepper, violets, and light earthy and spicy notes. Smooth yet firm tannins give the beverage excellent structure.
A classic Rhône Valley wine is a perfect gastronomic companion. It pairs wonderfully with grilled meats, spicy stews, roasted lamb, or even bold BBQ dishes. We also highly recommend pairing it with cured meats and pâtés from our wine snacks selection.
