Led by the late Marquis Carlos Falcó, this estate was the first in Spain to plant Syrah and Petit Verdot grapes, as well as introduce modern drip irrigation systems. Their vineyards in the Toledo mountains feature unique limestone soil that gives the wines incredible structure and minerality.
The producer is known for extremely powerful, rich, and age-worthy wines. They intertwine aromas of dark forest berries, plums, spices, and dark chocolate, complemented by elegant tannins.
These intense Spanish wines are the perfect companion to meat dishes. They pair wonderfully with charcoal-grilled beef, venison stews, and lamb steaks. For a party, we recommend pairing them with cured Iberian ham or aged cheeses from our wine snacks selection.
Is this Spanish wine suitable for long-term cellaring?
Yes, the top-tier wines, especially those made from Cabernet Sauvignon or Petit Verdot, have excellent potential and can evolve in the bottle for 10–15 years.
