Founded in 1995, the estate produced Chile's first iconic wine. It is crafted from classic Bordeaux varieties (Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Petit Verdot, Merlot, and Carménère), strictly following biodynamic farming principles. This beverage consistently receives top scores from global critics, often outperforming the most famous French estates in blind tastings.
This is a highly complex drink. It intertwines notes of blackcurrant, cherry, tobacco, cedar, and light spices. Silky tannins and crisp acidity ensure a perfect balance and a long, memorable finish.
Before tasting this powerful beverage, it is recommended to decant it for at least 1–2 hours. It pairs perfectly with dry-aged beef steaks, lamb, and aged hard cheeses. For a gourmet experience, pair it with premium charcuterie from our wine snacks selection.
Is "Seña" suitable for investment and cellaring?
Absolutely. It is one of the most highly regarded New World wines, with the potential to age in the bottle for several decades.
Does this estate use only sustainable methods?
Yes, the entire vineyard is certified biodynamic to maximally reflect the pure nature of the Aconcagua Valley.
