Protos Roble Ribera del Duero DO 2023 - a complex and elegant red wine made from hand-picked grapes grown in Burgos and Valladolid vineyards - two of the most important points in the Ribera del Duero region. The average age of the vines is 25 years, which ensures the concentration and aromatic depth of the wine.
Maturation and production:
6 months of aging in French and American oak barrels
Additional 6 months of aging in the bottle to reveal the subtle flavors
Cold maceration allows you to preserve the natural fruitiness and freshness of the aromas
Aroma and taste:
The wine is distinguished by a bright aromatic profile: ripe strawberries, cherries, as well as vanilla, licorice, light smoke. The taste is medium-bodied, fresh acidity, ripe tannins. Red berries and oak notes blend harmoniously, maintaining a fruity freshness. The aftertaste is long and expressive.
Serve at 16-18 °C with various meat dishes, pasta with meat sauce, and hard mature cheeses.
