The history of Markellos began in 1932, when Dimitris Markellos planted the first olive trees and started producing olive oil for his family. Since then, the olive tree has become an integral part of the family’s identity and a symbol of continuity across generations.
In 2014, the estate was taken over by the fourth generation – cousins Nikos, Christos, Michalis, and Nikos.
