Klaus Lotz Riesling Trocken 2025 is a refreshing wine from the Mosel region of Germany, reflecting the classic style of this region – lightness, bright acidity and subtle minerality. The Weingut Lotz winery pays great attention to working on the steep slopes of the Mosel, so even the basic level wines are distinguished by a clear expression of origin and excellent balance. The 2025 harvest retains the fresh, fruity and energetic character typical of young Mosel Riesling.
The aroma reveals notes of green apples, lime, lemons and white peaches, complemented by subtle accents of white flowers and a light slate-like minerality.
The taste is dominated by crisp citrus freshness, green apples and juicy acidity, which gives the wine vitality and lightness. The wine is light, mineral, with an aftertaste of citrus peel.
The Mosel region is famous for its steep slate slopes, which store heat during the day and gradually release it to the vines at night. This terroir allows the Riesling grapes to retain their bright acidity while developing a subtle aromatic intensity and a distinctive minerality – qualities for which Mosel Rieslings are valued worldwide.
Fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks to preserve the natural fruitiness, freshness and expression of the terroir.
The optimal serving temperature is 10–12 °C. It is recommended to combine with: fresh salads, seafood, grilled or steamed white fish, sushi, light goat's milk cheeses, Asian cuisine dishes or simply serve as an aperitif.
