The Capital of the Pinot Grigio Grape

The Delle Venezie region is the global leader in Pinot Grigio production. In 2017, the appellation's status was elevated from IGT to DOC (DOP) to ensure stricter quality control and lower permitted yields. This move guarantees that any white wine bearing this label will consistently meet high standards, featuring vibrant acidity and aromas of pears, peaches, and citrus fruits.

Ideal with Seafood and Appetizers

Because of their gentle, mineral-driven profile, Delle Venezie wines do not fatigue the palate, making them some of the world's best aperitifs. This is also a fantastic wine for fish, sushi, light chicken dishes, or fresh cheeses. It is no coincidence that it is a frequent choice for parties and often included in summery wine sets.

Does Delle Venezie DOP produce only white wine?
The vast majority (around 85%) of the wine produced here is white Pinot Grigio. However, the appellation also permits the production of the traditional "Ramato" (copper-colored) wine—a style of rosé created by allowing the Pinot Grigio juice a brief contact with the grape skins.

How should this wine be served?
To preserve its crisp acidity and delicate floral and fruity aromas, this wine must be served well-chilled, at a temperature of around 8–10 °C.

Is this wine suitable for vegans?
More and more producers in the region are adopting sustainable winemaking practices and avoiding animal-derived fining agents. However, it is always best to check the specific bottle's label for a vegan certification mark.
