About 85% of this zone's production is red wine, renowned for its wonderful red berry aromas (cherries, wild strawberries), soft tannins, and subtle earthy notes. The white wines, while rarer, feature a beautiful buttery texture, with tones of apples and toasted almonds.
The red wines from this appellation are incredibly versatile and pair flawlessly with roasted poultry, duck breast, or light meat appetizers.
