Château Paulet is one of the oldest houses of the Cognac region, founded in 1848 by Jean-Maurice Lacroux in Jarnac, France. A family business for more than a century, Château Paulet earned an exceptional reputation – its cognacs were supplied to the legendary Michelin-starred restaurant Troisgros and to Harrods department store in London. The house takes its name from the impressive Château Paulet estate (Domaine de la Couronne) in the commune of Chassors, which became the brand's emblem.
Since 1975, Château Paulet has belonged to the Renaud-Cointreau group, which also owns the famous Frapin cognac house, with production based in Segonzac, in the heart of the Grande Champagne cru. Today the revived brand offers VS, VSOP, XO and XXO cognacs, including organic expressions. Château Paulet cognacs are known for their elegant, balanced style: aromas of fruit, flowers and vanilla, with a smooth, long-lasting finish.
