An exceptional white Châteauneuf-du-Pape wine born at the renowned Clos Roquète estate, owned by Daniel and Frédéric Brunier – the same visionary winemakers behind the legendary Domaine du Vieux Télégraphe.
In the glass, it reveals delicate notes of white flowers, pear, peach, honey, and almonds, accompanied by citrus peel and gentle spice nuances. The bouquet is rich yet restrained, with a fine sense of minerality – a hallmark of the finest white Châteauneuf-du-Pape wines.
On the palate, the wine is full-bodied, silky, and elegantly balanced. Flavors of ripe stone fruits, honey, and vanilla evolve into citrus freshness and a subtle spicy trail. Roussanne brings depth and richness, Clairette adds freshness and minerality, while Grenache Blanc contributes gentle fruitiness and structure. The finish is long, warm yet vibrant, with hints of citrus, almond, and creamy texture.
Clos Roquète Blanc 2024 is crafted from three classic Châteauneuf-du-Pape white grape varieties – Roussanne (40%), Clairette (30%), and Grenache Blanc (30%). The vines grow on stony, calcareous, and clay-rich soils, which lend the wine its structure and minerality. The grapes are hand-harvested, and fermentation occurs naturally – partly in oak barrels and partly in stainless steel vats, preserving both freshness and balance.
