White dry
This wine offers an unparalleled opportunity to experience the pure, refined elegance that only the Rheingau region can deliver – a testament to exceptional winemaking from an area historically renowned for producing some of Germany's finest „Rieslings“.
The wine presents a bright yellow hue, drawing you in with enticing aromas of yellow fruits, hay, wet stone, and a sweet spiciness. On the palate, it delivers an impressive complexity paired with subtle hints of tannin and strong acidity. This creates a remarkable connection between concentration and lightness, culminating in a truly harmonious experience.
This exquisite Riesling comes from Germany's prestigious Rheingau region, one of the country's smallest wine-growing areas, encompassing approximately 3,000 hectares of vineyards. Protected by the Taunus mountain range, the southerly exposed vineyard sites are a reliable source of some of the nation's finest Riesling wines. The grapes for this particular wine are meticulously sourced from the second-best parcels of Cru-classified vineyard sites in Rüdesheim, Rauenthal, and Lorch, where deep Phyllite, clay, and quartz slate soils prevail.
The residual sugar is 4.4 g/l.
Serve at 8-10 °C with pork, shellfish, spicy food, poultry, cured meat.
This mineral masterpiece is very finely nuanced, but it doesn’t mess around, rather it makes a bold statement of intent. Very complex nose of wet stones, rhubarb, white peaches and flowers. Dense yet delicate, structured and filigree, this medium-bodied wine shoots across the palate with a linearity that reminds me of Australian dry riesling, but is married to wonderful wild-herb delicacy. From organically grown grapes with Fair'n Green certification. Drink or hold.

Winemaking Philosophy
Weingut Georg Breuer is dedicated to producing elegant, dry Riesling wines with a strong sense of terroir. The quality pyramid ranges from Estate and village-level Riesling to the premium Terra Montosa cuvée and single-vineyard Grand Cru wines. The focus lies on low yields (especially 15–25 hl/ha in top sites), rigorous hand selection of healthy ripe grapes, spontaneous fermentation, and ageing in traditional large oak casks.
The winery practices sustainable viticulture and is certified under the FAIR’N GREEN standard — one of the strictest sustainability certifications in Germany.
Wine Style
Georg Breuer Rieslings are characterized by purity, finesse, vibrant minerality, and excellent structure. They offer great drinking pleasure when young, yet possess the balance, acidity, and depth to age gracefully for 15–30+ years.
Weingut Georg Breuer represents classic, high-end Rheingau winemaking at its best — refined, terroir-driven, and timeless.
