Fruit and berry sweet
This is a unique Lithuanian wine made exclusively from carefully selected, cultivated rowanberries. Although rowanberries are traditionally associated with tartness and astringency, this wine completely breaks that stereotype.
The wine's aromas are expressive and distinctly autumnal. It is dominated by notes of ripe rowanberries, dried apricots, orange marmalade, and subtle autumn spices. On the palate, the wine is smooth and medium-bodied. A pleasant, fruity sweetness is immediately apparent, which is instantly balanced and refreshed by a crisp berry acidity, leaving a long, clean, and highly authentic rowanberry finish.
The secret to the success of "KONZENTRA" wine lies in its raw materials. Instead of wild berries, this wine uses specially selected cultivated rowanberries. These berries possess a much milder character, higher natural sweetness, and lack the harsh bitterness typical of wild rowanberries.
The quality and uniqueness of this wine are confirmed by top awards at prestigious wine competitions both in Lithuania and abroad:
Gold Medal: Concours International de Lyon 2026 (France)
Silver Medal: Lithuanian Wine and Mead Championship 2025 (Lithuania)
Bronze Medal: Wine Expo Poland 2025 (Poland)
Serve chilled—at a temperature of 10–12 degrees—in a white wine glass. It pairs perfectly with light appetizers, mildly spicy fish dishes, pâtés, or not-too-sweet desserts.
“Geri metai” – unveiling the hidden potential of rowan berries
“Geri metai” is a family-owned estate that has been cultivating rowan orchards for more than five years and, in 2022, introduced its first rowan berry wines to the market.
“Our goal is to reveal the potential of the rowan berry while preserving its natural character and expression of terroir,” says Giedrius Kaukas, the owner of the estate.
The wines are never heated, filtered, or artificially clarified. Every stage – from harvest to aging – is carried out by hand, ensuring that only the purest and most authentic expression of the fruit reaches the bottle.
The estate is home to 14 different rowan berry varieties, whose fruits vary in color (from bright orange to almost black), taste, and aroma. As a result, the “Geri metai” portfolio includes white, rosé, orange, amber, red, and purple rowan wines – each with a distinctive character.
Rowan wines are true, wine-like expressions: alongside the unique character of rowan berries, one can also detect notes of citrus, dried fruit, wild berries, and gentle spice. On the palate, the wines range from refreshing acidity and a light body to richer, more expressive tones, depending on the style.
The wines are made exclusively from rowan berries – without the addition of any other fruits or berries. They may contain only naturally occurring sulfites.
