Fruit and berry
“Botis” is an exceptional fortified Lithuanian liqueur wine, inspired by the classic Porto style yet retaining a distinctive local character. The name Botis is an old Lithuanian word meaning attention or care, perfectly reflecting the philosophy behind the creation and maturation of this wine.
The aroma is rich and expressive, dominated by sweet forest berries, elderflower, and honey, with subtle notes of vanilla and caramelized nuts. On the palate, the wine is concentrated and gently sweet, balanced by fresh acidity, soft tannins, and a long, elegant finish.
The wine is made from blueberries, complemented by apples and other berries, sweetened with honey and fortified with a house-made fruit distillate. After fermentation, it is aged for three years in oak barrels, where it develops depth, harmony, and complexity.
Serve at 15–17 °C as an aperitif; it also pairs beautifully with coffee, chocolate desserts, and aged cheeses.
