Originating from the very heart of the Cognac region, Grande Champagne, this masterpiece of exceptional maturity astonishes with its harmony of flavors and sustained longevity. "Noces de Platine" is an outstanding cognac, crafted by blending more than 100 old cognacs (the youngest being: 70 years old) from Jacques Hardy's personal collection.
The aromatic bouquet opens with hints of subtle flowers, rich coffee, and sweet honey. The taste on the palate is deep and luxuriously round, featuring accents of caramel, chocolate, and leather.
Serve at room temperature in a classic tulip-shaped glass. It pairs perfectly with high-quality dark chocolate or stands alone beautifully as a meditative drink.
Hardy is one of the most distinguished houses of the Cognac region, founded in 1863 by British wine merchant Anthony Hardy, who fell so deeply in love with France and the Cognac region that he changed his name to Antoine and chose the Gallic rooster as the emblem of his house. As early as 1869, Hardy's Fine Champagne cognac was awarded a Diploma of Excellence at the Amsterdam Exhibition, and over five family generations the house earned a worldwide reputation for exceptional quality.
Hardy is renowned for its elegant, refined style and its special devotion to art: in 1960 the house was the first to introduce the "Wedding Anniversary" collection – cognacs aged from 25 to 75 years – and, in collaboration with the famous Daum and Lalique crystal houses, created collectible decanters that became works of art in their own right. From the classic VS, VSOP and XO to the legendary Noces d'Or series, Hardy cognacs stand out for their smoothness, floral and vanilla aromas and a long-lasting finish.
