White dry
An elegant and precise white wine from the Friuli region, valued for its exceptional balance between fruity energy and deep minerality. It is an excellent example of modern Italian winemaking, revealing the character of the Isonzo valley.
The wine's aroma is dominated by lemon and bergamot accents, intertwining with nuances of blackcurrant leaves, white flowers, and herbaceous spices. On the palate, the wine reveals a medium body, a balanced texture, and vibrant acidity. The concentrated fruitiness harmoniously blends with a firm mineral axis, transitioning into a long, fresh finish.
This blend, dominated by 'Sauvignon Blanc', 'Friulano', and 'Riesling' grapes, perfectly reflects the terroir of the Isonzo zone. To ensure maximum quality, the harvest is hand-picked at different times, taking into account the individual optimal ripening period of each variety. The grapes are pressed gently to avoid unwanted bitterness, and each variety is fermented separately in stainless steel tanks.
Serve at a temperature of 10–12 °C. It pairs perfectly with seafood, fish dishes, white meat, refreshing summer salads, and fresh cheeses.
The Lis Neris 2019 Friuli Isonzo Fiore di Campo Cuvée F2 is a blend of Friulano, Sauvignon Blanc and Riesling, with a black and gold label on the bottle. The wine is softly textured in that manner that only Italy's Friuli white wines can achieve. What makes the texture special is that it creeps up on feeling full-bodied but never feels heavy. In addition to stone fruit and pastry-like aromas, the wine is layered with pretty acidic freshness and salty mineral notes. Production is 6,500 bottles.
Lis Neris is one of the most prestigious wineries in Friuli-Venezia Giulia, located in the Isonzo area of northeastern Italy. This winery is considered the benchmark of modern Friulian winemaking, renowned for its precise approach to terroir, small yields and extremely precise management of grape expression.
The winery was founded in 1987, and its philosophy is based on the synthesis of international and local varieties, adapted to the character of the Isonzo soils. Lis Neris is particularly famous for its high-class white wines, dominated by Sauvignon Blanc, Friulano, Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay and Riesling.
The winemaking process is based on the principle of small yields, strict selection of berries and an individual approach to each plot.
