Poli Elisir Limone is a refreshing, sweet lemon liqueur where true citrus-peel aromatics meet a neat, well-balanced alcoholic structure. A limoncello-style drink, it’s made not only for “after dinner”, but also for moments when you want a clean, summery citrus profile in the glass.
It is produced using a natural infusion of lemon peels in alcohol, so the aroma remains genuine, without an artificial impression. Poli uses Etna lemon peels from eastern Sicily. In this region, the peel is known for an exceptionally high-quality essential-oil profile, shaped by volcanic soils, abundant sunshine, and a climate moderated by Ionian Sea winds.
On the nose, Elisir Limone recalls a pleasant lemon ice cream on a hot summer day: fresh peel, bright citrus, and clean, refreshing energy. On the palate it is sweet but not cloying, with a subtle peel bitterness that brings balance and leaves a crisp, fresh finish.

It all began in 1898, when straw hat maker GioBatta Poli, driven by a passion for grappa, built a small still and began visiting local winemakers to distill the leftover grape pomace after winemaking.
