Managed by the Perrin family, the estate stands out for its harmonious terroir, where gravel, clay, and sand soils allow for the equally successful cultivation of both red and white grapes. It is one of the few Bordeaux estates whose white and red wines were both recognized by the top 1959 Graves classification. Sustainable farming principles are applied in the vineyards, and oak barrel aging is handled very subtly.
The red wine (mostly from Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot) features notes of dark cherries, smoke, graphite, and tobacco, along with a silky texture. The white wine (a blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon) is considered the estate's calling card—it is distinguished by crisp acidity, white floral, grapefruit, and light buttery aromas.
