A soft, mild, subtly flavoured cheese made from a blend of cow's, goat's and sheep's milk. Produced in Italy in the Piemonte region, the maker Caseificio dell'Alta Langa takes pride in using only traditional (ancient) methods in cheese making and strictly avoids any artificial additives.
Soft on the outside with a very thin rind, dense and firm-curd in texture inside, with a mild flavour (aged in the cellar for just 15 days). Pairs perfectly with thin crackers as well as baguettes, and goes well with sparkling wines and beer.
Ingredients: pasteurised cow's, goat's and sheep's milk, cream, salt, rennet.
May contain traces of milk and milk products.
