'We love forging new bonds and discovering the tastes of whisky tasters in countries where Compass Box whiskies are shared and enjoyed.
When the opportunity arose, we created a whisky for our long-time supporters (perhaps colleagues or friends) Duoklė Angelams in Vilnius, Lithuania. They told us that a rich, spicy malt whisky without peat smoke flavour should suit Lithuanian taste perfectly.
This distinctive whisky starts with our Highland Malt Blend, aged in special French oak casks. We added a portion of Oloroso-style sherry-cask-aged whisky and Linkwood distillery whisky aged in STR wine casks, which provide generous oak and black cherry flavours. An oily and creamy bourbon-cask-aged whisky finishes off this composition.
In its style, it is closely related to another limited-edition cousin, Spice Tre Extravaganza. Its flavour is firm and syrupy. Perfect for Baltic winter evenings.'
