Mini Mi Mediterranee Rose 2025

Description

This is a light, dry rosé wine from southern France, reflecting the character of the Mediterranean region. Pale in colour, with fresh fruit expression and a clean, precise style. The wine is produced by Vins Breban and classified as IGP Méditerranée, allowing for a more flexible and modern interpretation of the region.

The nose reveals subtle notes of red berries and flowers – strawberry, raspberry and light citrus nuances. The aromatic profile is elegant and clean, with a gentle hint of Mediterranean herbs. On the palate, the wine is soft and light-bodied, with lively yet well-balanced acidity. It shows freshness and good intensity, finishing with a clean, fruit-driven medium-length aftertaste.

The grapes are grown in southern France, near Saint-Maximin-la-Sainte-Baume, at an altitude of 360–420 metres above sea level. The soils are diverse – ranging from clay and limestone to sand, with bauxite and marble elements – contributing to the wine’s light structure and subtle minerality.

The wine is made from ‘Grenache’ and ‘Cinsault’ grapes. Each variety is vinified separately, with fermentation carried out in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks to preserve aromatic purity. The wine is not aged.

Serving recommendations

Serve chilled, at about 8–10 °C; pairs well with seafood salads, pan-fried white fish, and light pasta dishes with vegetables.

About brand

Vins Breban

“Vins Breban” is a well-established producer from the Provence region, representing more than three generations of winemaking tradition in southern France. The family business began in the mid-20th century, when Raymond Bréban started producing wines, and since 1952 the company has steadily developed into an important player in both the French and export markets.

Today, “Vins Breban” offers a broad portfolio ranging from classic Provençal rosé wines to whites, reds and sparkling wines. The focus remains clear: to create authentic, regionally expressive wines that are easy to understand and enjoy.

Three generations rooted in Provence

The story of the producer is closely tied to Provence – a region where wine is an integral part of everyday life. Over the decades, “Vins Breban” has built long-term relationships with local growers and partners, working with vineyards across different appellations such as Côtes de Provence, Bandol and IGP zones.

This collaborative model allows the winery to present a wide stylistic range while maintaining consistency and regional identity.

Terroir: Mediterranean influence

The wines are shaped by a Mediterranean climate, defined by abundant sunshine, dry conditions and cooling sea breezes. These elements help preserve freshness while allowing full ripeness. The soils vary from limestone and clay to gravel, contributing structure, balance and a subtle mineral character.

This terroir is particularly suited to rosé production, with Provence widely regarded as one of the world’s leading regions for this style.

Wine style: clarity and drinkability

The style of “Vins Breban” is clean, precise and gastronomic. Rosé wines are fresh and delicately fruity, whites show aromatic clarity and vibrancy, while reds balance ripe fruit with southern warmth.

Sparkling wines also play an important role in the portfolio – a category developed since the early years of the company.

These are approachable, versatile wines that reflect the essence of Provence: lightness, freshness and adaptability at the table.
