Van Nahmen 'Stromberger' Plum Juice
Van Nahmen Stromberger plum juice is a juice of exceptional purity, naturally pressed with no added sugar, made from protected-origin Stromberg plums grown in the Münsterland region. This historic plum variety is known for its natural sweetness and gentle, fruity character, while preserving its unique regional identity.
The aroma reveals notes of cinnamon, vanilla and ripe, fleshy plums, which, when the glass is swirled, are complemented by hints of marzipan, hazelnut and elderflower. On the palate, the juice is smooth and rounded, with subtle natural sweetness, very mild acidity and a light tannic texture. The finish is fruity, evolving into pleasant notes of marzipan, vanilla and toasted nuts.
Recommended to serve lightly chilled, at around 12–14 °C. Pairs beautifully with dishes featuring tomato-based sauces (such as lasagne or Bolognese-style dishes), meat dishes, veal, poultry, grilled fish or baked Camembert with cranberries.

The history of "Van Nahmen" began in 1917 when Wilhelm Van Nahmen founded an apple puree manufactory, which in the 1930s transitioned to producing apple juices from local Rhine region varieties. Since 2007, the family has been producing juices from rare varieties of various fruits, some of which are turned into non-alcoholic sparkling beverages. To preserve old varieties, the family not only collaborates with organic farmers growing traditional variety fruit trees but also plants between 500 and 800 local variety seedlings each year. Since 2005, the family business has been led by fourth-generation representative Peter van Nahmen, who believes that juices made from old varieties, like wine, reveal a wide world of aromas and sensations in the glass. The "Van Nahmen" family is a perfect example of how combining regional traditions, biodiversity preservation, and an innovative approach can create a successful product. Currently, "Van Nahmen" offers various single-variety juices, sparkling juice teas, and sparkling juice cocktails (non-alcoholic alternatives to sparkling wines), as well as ciders.
