Van Nahmen 'Williams Christ' Pear Juice
Van Nahmen Williams Christ pear juice is a juice of exceptional purity, 100 % naturally pressed from fully ripe Williams pears, with no added sugar. This classic pear variety is known for its natural sweetness and a gentle, elegant hint of spice. The juice has a soft, velvety texture and a rich aroma of yellow, juicy pears, complemented by notes of English roses, rosehips, blossom honey and lemon balm. An excellent choice for gourmets and lovers of refined flavours.
Recommended to serve at 10–12 °C. It pairs beautifully with classic German dishes (such as pears with beans and ham, or chicken fricassee), mild goat cheeses, gorgonzola dolce, vegetarian dishes, as well as freshwater fish or delicate veal. For a fresher style, it can be mixed with sparkling water in a 1:1 ratio.

The history of "Van Nahmen" began in 1917 when Wilhelm Van Nahmen founded an apple puree manufactory, which in the 1930s transitioned to producing apple juices from local Rhine region varieties. Since 2007, the family has been producing juices from rare varieties of various fruits, some of which are turned into non-alcoholic sparkling beverages. To preserve old varieties, the family not only collaborates with organic farmers growing traditional variety fruit trees but also plants between 500 and 800 local variety seedlings each year. Since 2005, the family business has been led by fourth-generation representative Peter van Nahmen, who believes that juices made from old varieties, like wine, reveal a wide world of aromas and sensations in the glass. The "Van Nahmen" family is a perfect example of how combining regional traditions, biodiversity preservation, and an innovative approach can create a successful product. Currently, "Van Nahmen" offers various single-variety juices, sparkling juice teas, and sparkling juice cocktails (non-alcoholic alternatives to sparkling wines), as well as ciders.
