An enticing aroma of peaches, quinces, nectarines, and blossom honey. Initially, a harmonious acidity stands out, followed by notes of ripe candied citrus fruits. Lovers of characteristic "Rieslings" will be completely captivated.
Ried Loibenberg is one of the most important Wachau vineyards, characterized by primary stony soils, oriented to the south, and therefore correspondingly warm and sunny. Probably one of the warmest Wachau vineyards. It is all the more impressive that Emmerich Knoll managed to reveal the subtlety and elegance of his Loibenberg Smaragd Riesling.
