Red dry
Wine is a diplomat, as the winemaker himself calls it. This is Admiral’s little brother with a distinctive strong character.Vines grow in soils of gravel, sand and clay. The wine is matured for 18 months. in French oak barrels, 60% of which are new. Dark ruby wine smells of ripe cherries, sweet plums, figs, sage, cedar nuts, spices. Juicy, medium firm tannins, spicy. Long mineral aftertaste.Wine maturation potential until 2034.
Serve at 16-18 °C with red meat stews, steaks, grilled sausages and ripened cheeses.
Deep dark ruby, opaque core, purple reflections, delicate edge brightening. Black forest berry confit with fine oak savouriness in the background, a hint of plum, liquorice and candied violet. Taut, elegant, firm, ripe tannins, finely savoury, cassis notes on the finish, tobacco aftertaste, lingers well, a multi-layered food companion.

The basis of the farm's oenology is maturing in small French oak barrels. This gives the wine concentration, intensity, strong tannins and longevity. Their wine from local varieties and blends with classic French varieties are very successful.
