Alcohol-free rosé wine “Sans Rosé” from Germany (Rheingau region)
An elegant, fresh, and harmonious alcohol-free rosé wine produced by the renowned Georg Breuer winery in the Rheingau region of Germany. Made from 100% ‘Pinot Noir’ (‘Spätburgunder’) grapes, this wine shows that alcohol-free rosé can be not a compromise, but a truly refined and high-quality choice.
On the nose, it reveals fresh notes of citrus, cherry, raspberry, and peach, complemented by delicate floral hints of peony. On the palate, the wine is juicy, light, and well-balanced, with pleasant freshness and a clean, fruity character. This is a rosé in which fruitiness, elegance, and a gentle mineral freshness come together beautifully.
Recommended serving temperature: 8–12 °C. It pairs wonderfully with fish dishes, light cheeses, poultry, and is also an excellent match for vegetable gratins or gently spiced dishes.
The estate, founded in 1880 as part of a wine merchant company, has been owned by the Breuer family since the beginning of the 20th century. Georg Breuer enlarged the estate and increased the export of wines. His sons Bernhard and Heinrich and later Bernhard’s daughter Theresa expanded the vineyard size to 40 hectares in the best Rüdesheim, Rauenthal and Lorch sites. From the early 80’s Bernhard Breuer’s efforts gained an international reputation for the estate. Today it is managed by his daughter Theresa Breuer and production manager of many years, Hermann Schmoranz, with the assistance of cellar master Markus Lundén.
